Liam's 2nd Birthday

I am a nerd. You may as well know that right off the bat. I love planning parties. I get a little overambitious, but I have so much fun! We had his party a couple days before his actual birthday. It was dinosaur themed. Then on his actual birthday I felt like it was Christmas all over again! I had so much fun putting all of his presents together. I didn't want it to only last for five minutes though, so I decided to set an alarm on my phone that would play a happy birthday song every hour and let him open a gift then so he could enjoy each one. It didn't work out as ideally as I wanted, but it was our first try and he is only two! I had fun anyway.

We just celebrated our 9th anniversary. I can't believe that it's been that long! The time definitely flew by. It feels like we just got married yesterday, but also that we've always been together. We struggled to get our two little miracles here. We had four babies that we lost around 12 weeks before becoming pregnant with Liam. We were so happy that he got here! He was so beautiful and perfect and healthy. Then we got pregnant again when Liam was 9 months old and couldn't believe it! It had always taken us about a year or more to get pregnant before so we were quite surprised. Peter bounced into the world at a whopping 10.2 lbs and brought us even more joy. I still can't believe that we have kids! We love them so much. We're definitely getting initiated into the parenting world though. The transition to two kids is kind of crazy!
